The
Microsoft
VFP ODBC driver is required to be present and registered in the C:\windows\system32
directory (vfpodbc.dll) for the Incident Commander Pro GIS module to
pass it's information to the main application. |
|
Two Microsoft files MSCOMCTL.OCX and msvcr70.dll are required to be present and registered in the C:\windows\system32 directory. Read the included text file command to correctly register these files in the Window's Registry. |
'Incident Commander Pro' - Typical System Requirements
CPU & RAM: The 'Incident Commander Pro' software will operate quite well on any computer that runs at 2GHz with 512MB RAM or greater. As the program has many graphic-based features faster speeds and more RAM are always beneficial.
Hard Drive: The program requires about 100MB of hard drive space once installed. A similar amount of free space should be left available on the hard drive after installation, for the program to create temporary files while it is operating. |
|
Monitors: 'Incident Commander Pro' benefits greatly from the use of a reasonably large display screen - to display as much mission information as possible. A dual monitor system is recommended to display 'Incident Commander Pro' forms on one monitor and the GIS map display on the other monitor. |
|
Network Card: If the software is to be run over a local network - strongly recommended for most missions - then the computer will require a network card.
Operating
Systems: 'Incident Commander Pro' operates on the Windows
98, Windows 2000, Windows XP , Windows Vista and Windows 7. Windows XP Pro and Windows 7 operating systems are preferred, due to their increased stability. |

USB port configuration are recommended to handle barcode scanning and future developments of 'Incident Commander Pro'. Graphics Card: A dedicated graphics card, while not common on laptop computers, provides significantly faster map loading and graphic displays. |
